Friday Friend : Alexandra is more than a bijou
First post in English! Today is Friday, and Fridays are for friends on Plaisir du Plaisir.fr. So let’s begin this Friday Friends with Alexandra (girl on the pic). Coming straight from the States, Alexandra is a real gold mine in terms of music. She seems to know almost everything. Alexandra sent me a strict selection of songs that she loves from her exhaustive library.
She starts with the Canadian Arcade Fire and their beautiful track Suburban war. Amazing, I really like the pace change at the end of the song. She goes on with Posttod, synth-pop duo from Sweden, and their song Dead in the Universe. The track is terrific and its videoclip is even better. Then Alexandra moves on to Electric Youth and Electric Sunset, two groups that I didn’t know about. Alexandra’s selection ends with Here comes midnight from ODahl. Good synth melodies, it makes me happy and keeps me wide awake.
Alexandra knows about music. I can testify on that. Good vibes, sweet melodies, and good artists.

To cap it off, I’ll post a song not chosen by her but of which she gave me a few months ago. Hide and Seek from Himogen Heap. I particularly wanted this one on my blog. I’ll never forget the day in which we listened this impressive track in Paris. Thanks a lot Alexandra, you did a great job.

J’adoooore Hide and Seek d’Imogen Heap. Je l’avais découverte grâce à une série y a quelques années. Tchouss! « des bisettes » et « de la bise » !
